The Hits, All in One Place

Walk into any Alexandra's Pizza and there are a handful of things people order on autopilot. The Brother's Pepperoni Pizza. A Classic Halifax Donair, sweet sauce on the side. Garlic fingers, pulled apart at the table. Fresh wings, tossed in honey garlic. A side of poutine with real Quebec curd.

This is the lineup we're known for, the dishes that turned a single Queen Street shop into 11 locations across Atlantic Canada. Here's what's on each, why it's on the menu, and where to find a few of the specialty items that only some of our shops carry.

Brother's Pepperoni Pizza

The Brother's Pepperoni Pizza is the one we put our name on. Hand-tossed dough made fresh each morning, slow-simmered tomato sauce, real whole-milk mozzarella, and generous coins of slow-cured pepperoni that crisp up at the edges in the oven.

It's the pizza that anchors our full pizza menu, available in 10", 12", 14" and 16". Order it as-is, or use it as the jumping-off point for a custom build, half pepperoni, half whatever you like.

Brother's Pepperoni is available at our Nova Scotia locations — our Charlottetown shop carries pepperoni from a different supplier, since we can't get the Brother's pepperoni on the Island.

The Classic Halifax Donair

The Maritime gift to the world. Spit-roasted seasoned beef, shaved thin, wrapped in a warm pita with sweet Halifax donair sauce, raw onion and tomato. No frills. No fusion. Just the donair the way it's been made here since the seventies.

We've been serving the classic donair since 1991, and we've added a chicken donair and donair wraps over the years, but the original is still the move. Available in regular and large.

Donair Pizza, Two Halifax Icons on One Crust

If you can't decide between a donair and a pizza, the Donair Pizza (sometimes searched as "doner pizza") is the answer. Spit-roasted donair meat, sweet Halifax sauce in place of tomato, mozzarella, onion and tomato, finished with a drizzle of more sweet sauce.

It's one of the most ordered items on our signature pizza menu, and it shows up on best-of lists across Nova Scotia. Sized 10" through 16". Try it once and you'll understand why Haligonians are loyal to it.

Garlic Fingers, the East-Coast Staple

Hand-stretched pizza dough, brushed with garlic-herb butter, blanketed in mozzarella, baked until the cheese pulls. Served in long strips, with donair sauce on the side for dipping. That's it, that's the whole pitch.

Garlic fingers are an Atlantic Canadian thing, and they're built into our menu right next to the pizzas. Order them as a side with a pie, or get them on their own with a side of sauce, no judgment.

Wings & Poutine, the Pairing

Our wings are fresh, never frozen, and tossed in your sauce of choice, honey garlic, BBQ, salt and pepper, hot, suicide, or atomic if you've got something to prove. They're the most ordered side after garlic fingers, and they go on every game-day order we send out.

Pair them with our poutine, hand-cut fries with real Quebec curd and gravy, the dish that got Alexandra's voted "Best Poutine in Town" by The Coast Magazine readers. The Wings & Poutine combo is the easiest way to get both.

Alexandra's Special, the Loaded One

If you order for a group, the Alexandra's Special is the safe call. Pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper, onion, bacon and ground beef on one pie. It's the works, hence the name.

It lives on the pizza menu in the same four sizes as the Brother's Pepperoni. Get the 16" if you're feeding more than three people. You'll have leftovers, and that's the goal.

Available at Most, But Not All, Locations

A quick note: every Alexandra's Pizza carries our core lineup, the pepperoni, the donair, garlic fingers, wings, poutine. But a few specialty items, certain seasonal pizzas, some of the wraps and sides, and the larger dessert selection, vary from shop to shop.
